HAROLD CLAY TURNER DEDICATION 0F the first graduating class of Atlanta Christian Collegre eume this man of consecrated ability. Bearing the name of the Smiths boasted Henry Clay, he, too, is a native, son of the Southland; 21nd from his heart came the growing conviction that this territory needs the leader- ship of Christian men. For two years after commencement he served the church at Haines City, Florida, and then removed to Sumter, South Carolina, where he was preaching when extended the '2111 hack to his Alma Nhlter. Sprinfr. 1945. brought Brother Turner hack to the College as field representatives Ai- though there were no accominodations suitable to his family of foul: 110 house or even cooking facilities, he and his courageous help-meet accepted the challenge. and by Godis grace, have persevered. despite the hardships. Brother Turner has traveled approximately i'orty-tive thousand miles in two ymrs. Preachers iimm New York to Florida remember his infectious personality and zeal for Christ.
