A.H.S. Freshmen Visit The freshman class started off the beginning of the year very well according to the seniors. Freshmen all played their duties well for initiation. Later on in the year they visited the Illinois Heneppin Power Plant with their physical science teacher, Mr. Iorio. The Freshmen’s “Roast the Eagles” float for Homecoming was good, but their skit was better. They enjoyed roasting marshmallows and telling scary stories with the help of their class advisor, Mrs. Hewitt. They did profitably well selling fragranced soap. They ended the year all anxiously awaiting their next year as sophomores. Sophomores Put Together Fond memories of their freshmen year at A.H.S. helped the sophomores receive first place on their Homecoming float. During their “Eaglebusters!” skit, Matt Lawrence, the eagle, did a good job scaring grandma, Robin Johnson, while patiently waiting for the Eaglebusters, our Tigers. By selling popcorn this year the sophomores, raised money for their class. Ending the year they all wait for their oncoming junior year. v ■ Upper Right: Sophomore class officers left; president, Scott Musich; treasurer, Derek Welveart; advisor, Wilma Hewitt; Seceratart, Amy VanDeVelde; vice-president, Mike Sturtewagen.
