1983 Homecoming Theme HOMECOMING Homecoming week was extremely rowdy at Atkinson High School. You could feel the tension radiate as you entered the school. Coach Bandy gave the football team lots of encouragement. Many fans came to the Bonfire to show their support and then to Tiger Night to cheer them on to a victory. The parade in the afternoon was enough to fire the boys up if none of the other events during the week were. Through the game against Depue, the Tigers held up. Even though we didn't win, our boys held up and fought to the end. The next night at the Homecoming Dance, no ones fun was dampered by the slight loss.
