People We Can't Do Without Pictured on this page are people you see every day; but because they may not sit behind a desk or stand in front of a class, you may not realize how important they are to Atkinson High. These people do the so-called little things that keep the school functioning. In their ways, each one has a big impact on the school. We therefore want to express our appreciation of all the hard work they do for us and the cheerful way in which they do it. Pictured across the page, from top to bottom, are: jane Dolieslager, librarian; Becky Wancket, crossing guard and van driver; Pat Nelms, Arlo Atwell, and Fran Ledford, janitors; Lorrie Jurgensen, secretary; Hannah Bilfiet and Elsie Diericx, cooks; Dorothy Heller, nurse; and Barb Snider, bookkeeper. Not pictured are the members of the Board of Education: Stan Heller, Greg Patton, Paul Nelson, Dave VanDeVelde, jean Neuleib, Tom VanVooren, and Ron Reiling.
