MISS JOHNSON, SENIOR ADVISOR SUIOR CLASS HISTORI It was on a bright day in September, l9lJ+, that twenty shy freshmen entered the Atkinson High School. lear the end of the mmth of September the sophomores initiated us, and when they had really finished, we felt as though we were fully pledged high school members. During the year we lost four of our olassntes, Lawrence Basle, Bob Atwell, Bill Bentley, and Jeanette Hamer. However we -gained a new member, Mary Jane De Ren. Rowena Walker joined our ranks in 191.5 when we started our sophomore year. During this year we ordered our class rings. When we started our Junior year we had a new member, Winfred Gentry. On November 6, we presented our class play Hhs:-e's Laur1e . Thus we earned enough money to sponsor the Junior Senior Banquet which was held Hay 9. All tmsoon we started our final year of high school. Our memory books are filled with many events among which were foot- ball and basketball games, Homecoming, carnival, Junior-Senior Banquet and in our honor, graduation, and Baccalaureate.
