Look over there at the Coliseum! There's a picture of the Globe Trotters with old faces I seem to recognize. They are Calvin Price, Bobby Pennington and XVilliam Bryant. Is that the-yes, the professional football team coached by Jerry Crews with his assistant coach, Herman Wilson. 'Some of the players on the temm are: joseph Harvey, commonly called the Stone:rusher,'g XValter Little, the Hard Shelled Snail g and Thomas Williams, the Pryotechnies fmeaning fireworksj. That winged atomic controlled ambulance you see near the field belongs to Charles Hairston. He has a swift fleet of them. His funeral home has a frightful but rather harmless atmosphere. His customers bring him joy and sadness. Along with the funeral home he has the Right Rev. LeRoy Bell to give his cus- tomers that last step forward. Archie Love writes short, corny verses to be used as epitaphs. Enough for North Carolina. We must continue our trip forward. We're at the Howard Theater in Washington, D. C., watching the world famous interpreters and modern dancers of Mildred Little perform the sensational Ali Gay Ha Ba Qwhich when translated means the African Midnight Ramblernj. The group consists of Clarene Barber, Olivia Green, James Davis and James Kinard. Over there in the Smithsonian Institute is a sketch of the instrument used in the curing of pediroscomovallie, the germ commonly called dandruff. These electrical instruments were invented by,Willie Jackson and are in constant use at the College Girl beauty parlor operated by Barbara Blaylock. Her assis- tants are: Janie Crowder, Ida Massey, Mildred Howie, Burnie Sturdivant, Clarine Richardson and Virginia Crumblin. Down the street is a Pediatrics Clinic founded by Imogene McKnight, M.D., a great lover of children. She has a dozen of her own. I-Ier co-workers are: Marjorie McCollum, Viola Hillian, Virginia Rorie, jose- phine Ardery, Doris Carrigan and Audrey Koger. A quick change at Howard University reveals Fred Thornton as president of the institution and I.. C. Edwards as vice-president. Lonnie Cockeram is dean of men. Some of the members of the faculty holding doctorate degree are: Robert Jordan, Ralph Allen, Kenneth Kirby, Henry Williams and Donald Hawkins. Not far from the university is 3 firm of Know Your Better Lawyers. The attorneys who are most familiar here are Charles Clifton, Ernest Lewis, Doris Sherard and Clyde Morrison. A change of scenery reveals the I-Iouse of Representatives and the new Congressmen as follows: james Garrett, Samuel Houston, john Blakney, Romeo Stukes and Thomas Mickens. Daniel Rice, who speaks all languages fluently, is our new ambassador to Russia. Each has been doing an excellent job in promoting the welfare of the American citizens at home and abroad. As I turn the pages in the Movie Gu.lI1F which lies beside me, a startling title strikes my eye-- Love Came At Last! -an opera composed by Edythe Scott and produced by William Griffin, and starring: Clarice Graham, Fannie Tomlin, Mary Vestal, Austina Norris, Dona Ford, Joyce Rush and Ann Martin. At present this opera is being given in New York City, New York, at the Metropolitan Opera House. The eccentric costumes for this opera were designed by the world famous designing duet, Constance Newsome and Audrena Conrad. As I look down, the bright lights, crowded streets and huge buildings only tell me one thing: I am now looking down at the center of the great metropolis, N:w York City. In the center of the gigantic city is a bright colored sign which reads: Marriage License, Two Dollars Down!,' Scribbled below in small letters is, The rest is monthly payments. That's a real bargain! The only requirement is 3 bride and groom and we add all of the unnecessary trimmingsf'

The registrar is the fastidious, but loveable, Glenola Vance, On her desk is the latest copy of the Ebony Maga- zine featuring as its paragon the charming and attractive Doris Williams, exhibiting the exquisite and fabu- lous creations of the world-famous designer, Loretta Hairston. Incidentally, these poses were taken in the magnificent and splendid Jade Room of the Hotel Garner, built by and named for the prominent factotum, James Garner. Hotel Garner is located in Salt Lake City, Utah, and the manager of this huge mansion is the empiric William Parham. Before leaving North Carolina I'll take you to see -Oh we're flying over the home of Eldridge Alston, three times governor of North Carolina. His motto is: Leave it to me, and I'll look out for myself. He is unmarried, but it has been previously rumored that he plans an early trip to the altar with Maggie Hairston. ' A if i

The workmen are now making preparations for that long awaited program, Where Did Kilroy Go? , sponsored by Leon Sutton's Six Way Economical Cold Tablets. fAfter one uses these tablets for curing his cold, he may dissolve them in hot water and use as Red Devil's Lye or dissolve in cold water and use asgloor wax.j Starring in Where Did Kilroy Go , fby the way Kilroy got confused with the directions on the bottlej are: Marjorie Linton, Jo Ann Richey, Doris Bruce, Gladys Cox, Thomasina Carroway, Edward McCoy, Cerento Martin and John Williams. This quintet became famous for its rendition of Two Gun Mama! The dawn is approaching, therefore, I must hurry before my jet-propelled flying saucer of 1981 begins to fade into the mysterious unknown and I shall have no more power to pursue, since the dawn takes away all of my unearthly powers. Farewell, and remember that our trip reveals that the members of this Class will always headline the news EVELYN SHIPP 'N
