SENIOR CLASS HISTORY In September of l9hS, twelve children greeted Miss Edith Sampson to begin their first school year. Roll call was answered by Diane Armstrong, Mary Jean Beatty, Karen Gates, Lora Gerhold, Delores Jennings, Audrey Krug, Judy Risch, Jean Thoman, Mike Gibney, Ronnie Ness, Von Northland, and Duwayne Schminke. In first grade our teacher was Mrs. Olson. The class numbered fifteen, gaining June Schuler, David Krug, Wendell Phellps, and Don Sedrel, while losing Lora Gerhold. In second grade, our teacher was Mrs. Lewis and our class gained Jean Jacobi. Third grade saw our class grow to eighteen with the addition of Sondra Green and Kenny Sanders. Our teacher was Miss McNulty. Our fourth grade teacher was Mrs. Reynolds and we gained Lora Gerhold but lost Sondra Green. Von Van ROW and Van Our fifth grade teacher was Mrs. McNamara and our class lost Northland and Mary Jean Beatty but gained Gary Humphrey, Duane woert, and Richard Adams. In sixth grade we gained Delton Marti, and Billy Readnour. We numbered twenty. Our teacher this year was Mrs. McNamara. In seventh grade we gained Earlene Knapp, Margaretta Arnold John Erp, but lost Audrey Krug, Wendell Phellps, and Duane Woert. Our teacher was Mrs. Edgeton. Our class moved into high school in our Sth grade year. we gained Pauletta Henderson, Gary Lucky, Fred Fett, Eugene Primrose, and class sponsor Sondra Green, Duwayne Schminke. Our best memory of our freshman year was our initiation. Our was Mr. Kempf. We gained Audrey Krug, Susan Koch, and Dick Warren from the parochial school and Mary Jean Beatty and Richard Halbleib. We lost Margaretta Arnold, Fred Fett, Billy Readnour, Delton Marti, and Gary Lucky. Mr. Bowen was our sponsor in our sophomore year. We lost Don Sedrel but gained Danny Burke. In our Junior year our class sponsors were Mrs. Fleckenstein and Mrs. Fischer. hat year we lost Delores Jennings and David Krug. We held our class play in September, 1956 and the Junior-Senior Banquet was in May, 1957. our Senior year our class sponsor was Mr. Timmons and In Mrs. Fleckenstein. we gained Bob Keikhaefer but lost Ken Sanders, to make our class of 'S now number twenty.
