They collected three trophies--one for winning the Benton County tournamentsg one for being sectional runner-upg and the third for being co- champlons of the Benton County Conference. The following are the Senior Girls and the number of years that they lettered: Lora Gerhold, S years, Pauletta Henderson, 5 years: Jean Thoman, 5 years: Audrey Krug, M yearsg Karen Gates, GSPSQ M y The boys basketball team also had a successful season finishing with a 15-S record. They tied for second place in the Benton County Conference. The Senior boys on the squad were: Mike Gibney, Ronnie Ness, Gary Humphrey, Duwayne Schminke, Bob Kiekhaefer, and Richard Halbleib.
