The Editor Speaks... It has been my honorand privilege to edit The Columns during 1956, without a doubt, the best year that Athens Col lege has ever seen . It seems to me that Athens College has entered a new era. The year 1955-56 has been the year beyond the crisis. The college has passed the point of danger in its life. We have watched with pride and admiration the undefeatable spirit of Athens College asserting itself. In the long-awaited accreditation of the college, we have seen the hopes and dreams and efforts of many people become a dynamic reality.
