Basketball games are the most popular among bleacher creatures, with dedicated fans attending every game and travelling all over central Illinois in the dead of winter to watch the Warriors play. However, creatures can also be found at volleyball, softball, and baseball games (devoted fans will remember the Williamsville game when they would have frozen to death had it not been for those blankets), and track and cross country meets (which can also get pretty cold). But rain or shine, sleet or hail, heat or cold, you can always be sure of one thing — There will be bleacher creatures! (page 6) 1. Drew Koke eagerly volunteered to tape the home basketball games (or was it the cheerleaders?) 2. Mike Haschemeyer anxiously awaits the outcome of the game. 3. Bleacher creatures also include bench- warmers who antici- pate their turn to play. 4. These two unfriend- ly looking bleacher creatures lurk in the dug-out. (page 7) 1.
