S, Underclassmen, Just a little note to tell you about our 4 years at A,C,l-l, S, It was not all play, but quite a bit of work. Our first year we chose for our class officers President, Cliff Richterg Vice President, Lourine Sanderfieldg Secretary and Treasurer, Bill Miller and Student Council, Emily Brookshier. Our class sponsors were Mr. Gardner and Mr. Garen. We had a hamburger fry and a skating party dur- ing the year. We also sold magazines to raise funds for our class. When we advanced to Sophomores, we elected President, Cliff Richter, Vice President, Elmer Doom, Secretary Treasurer, J. F. Van Eman and Student Council, Janet Markey. We had a hamburger fry and a sock hop for our class parties. Buck Stufflebeam and Lourine Sanderfield were chosen Kip-lg and Queen for the school Halloween party. Thedgirls elected to march onor Night were: Betty Wiker, Lourine Sanderfiel , Emily Brookshier and Martha Follis. Our Junior year was one of our busiest years. Our officers were Presi- dent, Terry Mauriziog Vice President, Buck Stufflebeam, Secretary and Treasurer, Gary Harrison and Student Council, Cliff Richter. We sold hot dogs andgop corn at our basketball games and chose our class rings. Our Junior an Senior Prom went off very well. It was held at Washington Park on May 17. Our theme was Neptunes Castle. In the spring we ha a pizza and bar-b-que party at the school. King and Queen for the Halloween party were Gary Harrison and Donna Bozarth. The girls elected for Honor Night were: Lourine Sanderfield, Janet Markey, Martha Follis, and Emily Brookshier. At last we have climbed to the top of the ladder. As Seniors, Buck Stufflebeam was our President, Mick Wasilewski, Vice President, Gary Harrison, Secretary and Treasurer, Bill Noonan, Student Council. Terry Maurizio was chosen Student Council President, We had a spaghetti supper at the beginning of the year and sold cokes at basketball games to make money for our class. Mick Wasilewski and Barbara Calvert were elected King and Queen of the school Halloween party. We selected our class colors as blue and white and our class motto is Forward ever, Backward never. The best of luck to the underclassmen. We hope you have as much fun, and as much co-operation from the students and faculty as we have had. Donna is a designer of women's fashions, and Emily is a private secretary. Terry Maurizio, who is a professional bowler, and Gary Harrison, who owns a cattle ranch out West, are looking at some old basketball scores. Barbara Cravens and Mary Jane Neavill are playing records in the recreation room. Barbara teaches high school and Mary is a receptionist for a doctor. Judy Moss, who teaches kindergarten, is showing Dorella Sands a picture of her class. Dorella owns a restaurant in Arizona. Bill Miller and Ronnie Neavill iust came back from visiting Jerry Olson's 500 acre farm. Bill works in the research department of Dupont, and Ronnie runs a trucking line. Carol Roberts is describing her new home to Sandra Sanderfield. Sandra is employed with General Motors as a secretary and Carol works for the government. Activities included an Abe Lincoln Conference combined festival, Christmas concert, contests and a trip to hear the Springfield Symphony with a guest choir. The boys' chorus practiced separately and showed much improve- ment.
