13 SENIOR CLASS HISTOHT W , the class of 1946, entered A.C.H.S. in the fall of 1942 with an enrollment of 40 students. We lost several of our class- mates hut we gained some new ones. With a roll of 25, we are a rather small graduating class Our freshman year passed quickly Most of us were glad to he upperclassmen the next fall. Our sophomore year was more eventful. We had the distinction of raising more money than any sophomore class in the history o f the school by sponsoring a puppet show, a magician show and selling magazines. In the spring we had a hamburger fry that not many o f us have forgotten Our junior year passed quickly. We presented a play'fc. Mindof Her Own, and entertained the Seniors at the Junior—Senior Banquet at the Abraham Lincoln Hotel in Springfield. Our senior year has passed very rapidly, too. We sponsored a senior carnival and were given a Junior-Senior Banquet by the Juniors. Both were great successes. During the year we lost three members of our class——Floyd Ferguson and Bill Doggett joined the Navy; Earl Ferguson, the Arny.
