CLASS OF 1936 In the fall of 1932, after they had become acquainted, the Class of 1.036 elected the following officers: President, Arthur Pautsch, Vice President, Harold Hawkins, Secretary, Harriett Culver, Treasurer, Robert Council, Student Council Member, Bet- ty Brittin, Newspaper Reporter, Roy Landreth. V At the beginning of the year the Sophomores found they had lost eleven members. The officers this year were: President, George Richter, Vice President, Roy Landreth, Secretary, Helen Wilcoxon, Treasurer, Delbert Primm, Student Council Member, Wal- do Joachim, Reporter, Leila Mae Johnson. During the year, they lost three members, Thelma Lawson, Ernest Chandler and Paul Rath. Members of the class have displayed themselves well in orchestra, basketball, baseball and track. They hope the coming year will be even more successful.

H. S. When they had had ample time to become Well acquainted they held their iirst class meeting and elected otiiccrs. These were: President, Kenneth Baugherg Vice President, Marshall Grant, Student Council Member, John Miller, Secretary, Irene Dirksg Treasurer, Brian Grant, Reporter, Eugenia Primm. At the beginning of their Sophomore year the c'ass had lost six of their members, but during the year two new members were added to the roll, Emma Cordell and Charlene Kennedy. At the first meeting new leaders were elected: President, Marshall Grant, Vice President, John Miller: Secretary, Mary Wilkins, Treasurer, Anna Engel: Student Council, Kenneth Baugherg Reporter, Albert Ruggles. During the third year the class has achieved still greater honor under the guid- ance of their new officers: President, lrene Dirksg Vice-President, Eugenia Primm, Secretary, Dorothy Webb: Treasurer, Brian Grantg Student Council, Lillis Hall, Re- porter, John Miller. This year the class has continued the good work and its members are well repre- sented in literary programs, glee club, orchestra, and athletic events of the season. The first Junior play, The Hoodoo , was given Aipril 13, with great success and from its financial aid the Juniors entertained the Senior class at the annual Junior- Senior banquet, May 19.

The class was very sorry to lose Wilma Doom, Mildred Bennett, Nellie Barnes, Eric Jones and Herbert Ackerman before the first semester ended. Agnes Showalter entered school at the beginning of the second semester. After everyone had become acquainted the freshmen then elected their officers: President, William Zschocheg Vice President, June Van Meterg Secretary, Lawrence Markeyg Treasurer, William McLavish3 Student Council Member, Ralph Primm, Newspaper Reporter, Thomas Wood.
