Seniors VIRGINIA TALADA We like “Ginny” because she is a thinker and a swell person. We hope her goal in life is reached and that she achieves happiness. ALICE THOMPSON Alice’s dimples and winning smile make her beloved by all. She has much drawing ability, to be a private secretary is her aim. JAMES VAN SCOTEN “Van” is always a great tease, but his antics never lose him friends. Since his acceptance in the Navy Jim has left an empty spot in our classroom and in our hearts. LOIS WELLER Lois is noted for her chatter and her good looks. Her charm attracts many people to her father’s theater, but her heart is ever with Dick. Seniors GLENN ROBERTS “Hcrby” is a good friend and a great sport. He can always laugh at a joke even when it’s on himself. FRANCIS ROBINSON “Fran” had a few tough breaks, but he was able to overcome them which proves his ability to take everything in his stride. JACQUELINE SHUMWAY “Jac” is always a good sport and will help you out in a crisis. Her attitude is always a friendly one. DAWN SLATER Dawn is a great favorite with her friends. Her skill in basketball makes her the envy of the opposing team. DANA SMITH You can always use a dictionary when talking to Dana. He has a lot on his friends. PHYLLIS SMITH She hasn’t wasted any time getting results from her stenographic ability. “Fi-Fi’s” beautiful well-kept brown hair brings out her personal pride. BETTY STEPHENS Though Betty is short, her personality makes up for her stature. This together with her beautiful hair and charming smile make one swell girl. EDMUND STRUBLE A quiet, well-dressed, young man is “Ed” who has a way of causing laughs through his cartoons. ANNA SULLIVAN Anna’s independent spirit hides under her reserved matter-of-fact manner.
