Seniors GLENN ROBERTS “Hcrby” is a good friend and a great sport. He can always laugh at a joke even when it’s on himself. FRANCIS ROBINSON “Fran” had a few tough breaks, but he was able to overcome them which proves his ability to take everything in his stride. JACQUELINE SHUMWAY “Jac” is always a good sport and will help you out in a crisis. Her attitude is always a friendly one. DAWN SLATER Dawn is a great favorite with her friends. Her skill in basketball makes her the envy of the opposing team. DANA SMITH You can always use a dictionary when talking to Dana. He has a lot on his friends. PHYLLIS SMITH She hasn’t wasted any time getting results from her stenographic ability. “Fi-Fi’s” beautiful well-kept brown hair brings out her personal pride. BETTY STEPHENS Though Betty is short, her personality makes up for her stature. This together with her beautiful hair and charming smile make one swell girl. EDMUND STRUBLE A quiet, well-dressed, young man is “Ed” who has a way of causing laughs through his cartoons. ANNA SULLIVAN Anna’s independent spirit hides under her reserved matter-of-fact manner. SHIRLEY TALADA Shirley’s jokes and contagious laughter keeps the study hall in an uproar a good share of the time. 4. 18 j

. ♦ . Seniors KENNETH MUNN “Kenny”, tall and lanky, with his dark curly hair, is always a friendly, smiling companion. LOUISE MUNN Louise is a sweet girl with a pleasing personality. She can harmonize in more ways than one. PHYLLIS PAGE Phyllis’ studious and dependable manner will aid her in the study of music. Phyllis is well liked by everyone with whom she is in contact. BEVERLY PARKS Another blonde, “Bev”, is attached to her clarinet. She also plays a nice tune on a typewriter. KENNETH PARKS We all like “Kenny” and miss him since he’s in the Navy. We hope Uncle Sam grants him many leaves so he’ll be around often. ROBERT PATTERSON “Mort” is sought after by many. His characteristically friendly manner and his good sportsmanship make him a universal favorite. We hope to be seeing him soon in his Navy blues. JACK PEARN Jack is a hearty fellow with many aptitudes. He always gives a cheery greeting wherever you sec him. EDWARD RAUB “Ed” is a big help when you’re trying to find various articles on the grocery shelves. We like his friendly manner. ALTON REEVES A deep booming voice announces Alton. This is sure to help his theological career. LEO REGAN Leo’s good looks and charming personality make him this year’s “Prince Charming”. Watch out for those talent scouts, Leo, or you’ll end up in the movies instead of the Navy. 17 )

Seniors VIRGINIA TALADA We like “Ginny” because she is a thinker and a swell person. We hope her goal in life is reached and that she achieves happiness. ALICE THOMPSON Alice’s dimples and winning smile make her beloved by all. She has much drawing ability, to be a private secretary is her aim. JAMES VAN SCOTEN “Van” is always a great tease, but his antics never lose him friends. Since his acceptance in the Navy Jim has left an empty spot in our classroom and in our hearts. LOIS WELLER Lois is noted for her chatter and her good looks. Her charm attracts many people to her father’s theater, but her heart is ever with Dick.
