. ♦ . Seniors KENNETH MUNN “Kenny”, tall and lanky, with his dark curly hair, is always a friendly, smiling companion. LOUISE MUNN Louise is a sweet girl with a pleasing personality. She can harmonize in more ways than one. PHYLLIS PAGE Phyllis’ studious and dependable manner will aid her in the study of music. Phyllis is well liked by everyone with whom she is in contact. BEVERLY PARKS Another blonde, “Bev”, is attached to her clarinet. She also plays a nice tune on a typewriter. KENNETH PARKS We all like “Kenny” and miss him since he’s in the Navy. We hope Uncle Sam grants him many leaves so he’ll be around often. ROBERT PATTERSON “Mort” is sought after by many. His characteristically friendly manner and his good sportsmanship make him a universal favorite. We hope to be seeing him soon in his Navy blues. JACK PEARN Jack is a hearty fellow with many aptitudes. He always gives a cheery greeting wherever you sec him. EDWARD RAUB “Ed” is a big help when you’re trying to find various articles on the grocery shelves. We like his friendly manner. ALTON REEVES A deep booming voice announces Alton. This is sure to help his theological career. LEO REGAN Leo’s good looks and charming personality make him this year’s “Prince Charming”. Watch out for those talent scouts, Leo, or you’ll end up in the movies instead of the Navy. 17 )

Seniors JOHN JACKSON Ever a leader, “Jack’s” brilliance will lead him far. His great aptitude for study is equaled by his outstanding athletic ability and his quiet humor. BETTY KNIFF1N Betty is always a cheerful spot in a gloomy day. She will listen to your troubles and then cheer you up with a joke. SALLY LENOX ‘‘Sal’s” quick wit makes her the life of the party of which she attends many with that certain Sophomore. Sally will be able to keep her patients in stitches. ALBERTA LEWIS Bert” has a highly infectious laugh and will always “go to bat” for you if you’re in distress. “Speed” loves to argue, but in a nice way and her good looks make her always a favorite. MARY ANNE LUCY Along with her corny jokes, pint size, and good sportsmanship we give the world one swell kid. “Shorty” will have a contented brood in her orphanage. BETTY MACAFEE Betty’s red hair is the basis for her nick name. We’re glad her temper does not coincide. IRVIN MACAFEE “Help all who ask” is his motto. Blond hair, intelligent blue eyes, add them together and they equal “Irv”. FREDERICK MARYOTT Tall silent “Fred” may some day put his knowledge of farming to a good advantage. SIDNEY MITCHELL A second Sinatra is “Sid” whose mind is always at ease. “Sid” made a great center for our football team. JOYCE MOORE The depth of understanding is reflected in Joyce’s eyes. Seniors GLENN ROBERTS “Hcrby” is a good friend and a great sport. He can always laugh at a joke even when it’s on himself. FRANCIS ROBINSON “Fran” had a few tough breaks, but he was able to overcome them which proves his ability to take everything in his stride. JACQUELINE SHUMWAY “Jac” is always a good sport and will help you out in a crisis. Her attitude is always a friendly one. DAWN SLATER Dawn is a great favorite with her friends. Her skill in basketball makes her the envy of the opposing team. DANA SMITH You can always use a dictionary when talking to Dana. He has a lot on his friends. PHYLLIS SMITH She hasn’t wasted any time getting results from her stenographic ability. “Fi-Fi’s” beautiful well-kept brown hair brings out her personal pride. BETTY STEPHENS Though Betty is short, her personality makes up for her stature. This together with her beautiful hair and charming smile make one swell girl. EDMUND STRUBLE A quiet, well-dressed, young man is “Ed” who has a way of causing laughs through his cartoons. ANNA SULLIVAN Anna’s independent spirit hides under her reserved matter-of-fact manner. SHIRLEY TALADA Shirley’s jokes and contagious laughter keeps the study hall in an uproar a good share of the time. 4. 18 j
