Mary Carson Ina Cook The ninth grade curriculum consisted of history, math, science, and physical education, with art and chorus as electives. In addition to their world history course, the ninth grade went on a tour of Greek revival architecture in Athens. The English curriculum emphasized grammer and litera- ture. Also included were vocabulary and composition writ- ing. The French classes ranged from French I to French III. The ninth grade explored quadratic equations in Alge- bra I.
