A variety of checkered, striped, and plaid jeans for guys and girls swept the fashion market during the school year. For girls, Zena, Lee, Esprit, Gasoline, Guess, and Rocky Mountain seemed to be the more popular brand names. Guess, Union Bay, Lee, and the traditional Levi jeans were stylish for men. Overall, the fashions were part of what made the 1985-86 school year, and in years to come, we'll look back and wonder how we could have worn such clothesl- JG 12 1.
