The seniors finished the year by ordering their an- 28 nouncements, having cap and gown fittings, attending picture sittings, accepting invitation to banquets and teas, clowning their way through Kid Day, having a wonder- ful day at the Junior-Senior Picnic, and listening to the solemn Baccalureate service, all with the lovely Sayon- nara which the juniors offered them at Prom time forc- ing them to remember that everything was beginning to end. And as we pass through the long chain of Oak Leaves, we realize that it is all over now. But with cherished diplomas in our hand, fond memories in our mindis eye, and the strains of our song, Pomp and Cir- cumstance, ringing in our ears, we stand ready for what life has in store for us. We are not afraid of what lies ahead for always and ever the seniors of '59 will be able to face the world with the motto With a Song in Our Hearts, learned from the four happy and fun-filled years they spent at A.H.S.
