SEHIUH UFFICERS SEHIUH HISTUHU The world looks bright for a senior. Here we go, out into a new life with lots of ambition and expectation for what may come. Our classmates will soon be scattered, and although we'll never all be together again, there will be many times when we look back and remember the days we were in high school. Some of us will think of the time we stood in the halls talking around the lockers, or crowding in the doors at A noons, being part of the gang in the mad scramble to classes. A senior athlete vice-president may remember the time he won his first CAROL BERGER 'A in football, or the year he was in Student Council. High School meant a lot of things. Perhaps there was a class that was the spark of your day, the year you took Business Math or American Problems. And the class that had Dick Peterson or Bill Blair was never dull for lack of entertainment. Every other Friday was assembly day, To The Colors brought us all to our feet, and then the Star Spangled Banner before the program began. So many events will crowd our mem- ories ...... the football games in the fall, the many times we sang We're loyal and true A. H. S. as the pep club in their flashy jackets made a brilliant splash of color in secretary Treasurer the grand stand. Don Cochran or Bill Vaughn SHARON BLEDSOE DEAN LAVERENTZ tearing up the football field to make a touch- down, the thrill of pride it gave us when the band marched up the field at half-time. The holiday season with the Christmas Tree glowing in the hallg the big wreath out front, and the chorus practicing carols for the festival, was a special part of Christmas. Our junior and senior years we had a picnic at the lake to get our first sunburn of the season and maybe a cold swim if we were daring or were pushed. Our final fling on the last day and the prom that night made a beautiful climax to a year of fun and achievement. MONTGOMERY WARD 81 CO. REDDICK FURNITURE CO. zo
