Janet Foley; Treas. Dale Eads. The Student Council Representatives for the class of 53’ were: Joan Noble, John Orr, Shirley Ellyson, Louise Thomp son, and Lupi Gonzales. The class has produced some out- standing athletes having 30 boys report- ing for football and 12 for basketball. Several of these have made the varsity squads. The peppy “B Team Sophomore cheerleaders were Shirley Denny, Jo Ann Noble and Shirley Ham. The Sophomore class was kept busy with many activities during the year. Fifty-five sophomore girls belonged to the Y-Teen Club with Shirley Ellyson and Martha Stanton serving as cabinet mem- bers. Both the Boy’s and Girl’s “A”Clubs were highly represented l y the Sopho- more Class.
