 cuss HISIORY -c, O 0’ AJO® O0 The junior year of the class of’52 was one which will always be remembered as one of the best by its 126 members. There were 14 musical minded junior s in the marching band, approximately 60 junior girls were in Y-Teen and seven were cabinet members, while six junior boys were taking part in Hi-Y. In the Latin Club there were 14 juniors--TomRoot, Phyllis Pickering, and Gretchen Brittain were the officers. Ruth Stanton held the junior ban- ner as the only one taking part in debate. Nine Juniors helped keep their class in the news as reporters on the Optimist. There were eight junior girls in Girl's “A” Club in which Alma Johnston was the only junior officer. In the athletic department there were eight boys out for basketball and 14 for football. The junior class also contrib- uted three peppy cheerleaders to the A- squad and one to the B-squad. The play given by the classwas “Our Miss Brooks. The Student Council representatives were Jim Macomber, Bill Holmes, Carol Dittemore, Ruth Stanton, DonDunster, and Jo Ann Moeck. The junior class sponsors were Miss Worrel, Mr. Hiner, Miss Eskeldson, Mr. Davis, and Mr. Deckard. This page sponsored by HAYS SHEET METAL COMPANY
