THE GIRLS BASKETBALL TEAM wAS ORGANIZED AS A PHASE IN PHYSICAL EDUCATION BY MISS BETTY COLVIN, THEY HOPE TO PERFECT THE ORGANIZATION AS A COMPETITIVE TEAM NEXT YEAR. THE VOLLEY BALL GAMES FOR THE SHORT SEASON FURNISHED FUN AND EN- JOYMENT FOR THE TEAM. THE SPIRIT OF SPORTSMANSHIF wAS EvER ON THE ALERT. THE SEASON DID NOT END WITH A SCORE OF VICTORIOUS GAMES, BUT OUR COLORS WERE ALWAYS FLYING wITH A LOYAL TEAM BACKING THEM. MISS AUOELLE RUSSELL wAS COACH. PLEASANTON TRACK AND FIELD RESULTS IN THE ATASCOSA COUNTY MEET WERE VERY SATISFACTORY.
