orLci. Astoria, my Astoria, O. city by the sea! How often when I sit at evening, My thoughts drift back to thee. With your great and beautiful harbor And its ships that sail in glee. And your lofty peaks and hilltops. That seem so grand to me. Astoria, my Astoria, O, city, great and grand! I never can forget thee, Though I wander through foreign lands, With your great and mighty Cockscomb. Splendid work of the Master ' s hand, With its many trails and by-paths Through which as a child I ran. Astoria, my Astoria, O, home, my home sweet home ! Thou shalt always be a home sweet home to me No matter where I roam. And when life ' s battle is nearly ended, And there is nothing more to atone.
