Football This year the Pirates made quite an improvement over last year's record although they lost several players by graduation. The captains were Jerry Meehan and Dean Cripe. Norman White received an all-state award. Norman White and Jerry Meehan were named on the all-conference squad and several members of the team were chosen for the all- county team. The junior Varsity football team won two games this year while losing only one. Their last game was cancelled.
