Sophomore Class History When the Sophomore Class entered Astoria High last year there was a grand total of 51 They have picked up new members along the way and have also lost a few. They now have a fairly large class of 45 members. The class sponsors are Mrs. Trimpe and Mrs. Pollitt. The class is doing very well financially. Getting a big boost from their operetta, Meet Arizona , given last year im der the direction of Miss Janice Paul helped them out a lot. The class officers are Roger Bucher, presidentg Rosemary Poppenhager, vice presi dentg Marilyn Salisbury, secretaryg and Shirly Gorsuch, treasurer.
