Sopho more Class Hlstory In August 1955 a group of 52 green and enthuslastlc freshmen entered the doors A H S The 1n1t1at1on party gxven to us by the Sophomores made us feel welcome We elected the follow1ng officers President Pat McCombs Vxce Presldent Judy Shaw Secretary DIXIE Roosa and Treasurer Lo1s Snowden Mr Morrlson and Mrs Reeves were chosen as our class sponsors Several boys were represented 1n sports Two gxrls were elected cheerleaders We also had several classmates represented IH Chorus and Band Agam in August 1956 we entered the doors of A H S We had elected the followmg offxcers the precedmg sprmg- Presxdent Dav1d Bowman Vlce Presldent Lots Snowden Secretary Margaret Kessler Treasurer Hazel Crumley Our sponsors were Mrs Reeves and Mr Penman Agaln we have several boys represented in sports and two g1rls as cheerleaders Many of our classmates are ln Band and Chorus We were very unfortunate IH losmg three classmates Joe Clark Betty Flelds and Anna Mae Welker As we look back over our two years in hlgh school we feel even more sure that we want to come back next year to renew our old acquamtances and to make new frlends
