unior Class History In September 1954, the first group of 51 scared Freshies entered the doors of the new A,H.S, building. After the welcoming initation party given to us by the sophomores we elected the fol- lowing class officers: President, Dean Cripeg Vice-President, Mick Miller, Secretary- Treasurer, Majorie Fisk. Mrs. Pollitt and Mr. Moyer were our class advisors and our student council members were Janice Zahn, Kathy Raker, Gary Briney, and Norman White. We were fortunate in gaining Mary Anne Lutz and I-Ialdon Ferris, but we regretted losing three of our classmates . In August, 1955, we again entered the doors of A,l-I.S, with the enrollment of forty- nine. In a few weeks we elected the following officers: President, Mick Miller, Vice- President, Dean Cripeg and Secretary-Treasurer, Janice Ward. Our representives for the Student Council were: Kathryn Kost, Diane Weime, Marion Warner, and Norman White. Our class sponsors were Mrs . Kirkbride and Mr. Rumble. With the help of the Student Council, we initiated and gave the freshmen a party. In August, 1956, we entered the doors of A.H.S, for the third term with an enrollment of forty-nine . Our officers elected for the junior year were as follows: President, Gary Brineyg Vice President, Janice Zahn, Secretary, Diane Weime: Treasurer, Sharon Lindsey, Our spon- sors were Miss Crum, Mrs . Kirkbride, and Mr. White. Our Student Council members were Esther Lantis, Kathryn Kost, Sandra Parr, and Marion Warner. On March 27, we gave our junior class play, Father was a Housewife, under the direction of Mrs . White . During the past three years we had several active in sports, band, chorus, and one of the girls was a cheerleader. Now, we are looking forward to our senior year, and the many activities to come. 5:8 fate .. . . 3:':'f+t,, 'J wg R- 3 1' Y! .' ' ,H ,.Q..-dlp,-' ! f
