November 25. 1959 will be the actual 25th anniversary of the founding of the Series, which will also be in the midst of the 26th annual season. To 9570 of the 26 extraordinary programs of lectures, music, and the arts, all students are admitted gratisg some- thing unique in university circles in every continent. The Series, too, is unique in excellence and variety. More than one university president and publicist has declared that there is no comparable arrangement of cultural presenta- tions in North America. A relatively small percentage of students take advantage of the opportunitiesg but they find it most rewarding.
