We have gone through four years of hard work, sorrow, and happi- ness. It seems like only yesterday that we were freshmen beginning a new way of life. But with the end of our high school careers, we must start all over. Yes, we are leaving, but no matter where we go or how far we go, we will always keep A.H.S. dear to our hearts. In the dictionary the definition of this word is a secondary year student in high school or col- lege. To us it has additional meanings. We're no longer uncertain freshmen--now we really begin to know our school. We also know and respect its faculty and we can now feel that we are part of the qualities which bind this school together. We begin to realize our aim in life and as sophomores we feel certain that Our A.H.S. will give us the advantages through which we can achieve success and happiness in the future. In New Orleans the Seniors were entertained by A1 Hirt (James Simmons) at his night club on Bourbon Street. A really hep crowd watched A1 and his swinging band perform Java. On the romantic Isle of Tahiti, native dancers performed for the Seniors. Featured natives were Janet Landry, Hanson Hernandez, and James O'Neal (shown below). Stewardesses on the flight were Patricia Daigle and Diana Lynn Cavalier. Right: Tahitian narrator was Medora Campo. Below: Paris fashion designer Patricia Costanza. Junior girls worked hard painting the Tahitian set. Junior boys spent many hours building the sets. Juniors in the skit. After the trip Around the World, everyone enjoyed refreshments and dancing.
