Rather, use the precious gifts of optimism and enthusi¬ asm that properly belong to youth; make your own the glorious courage of Pius XII, who looks beyond the real dangers of the present to the equally teal benefits (hot can be gained by a generation that uses its own strength and humbly asks the help of God. 13
