The Stage Crew members helped in the auditorium doing an extra amount of work due to the mod- ular system. Members controlled sound and lighting, and ran films for large group sessions. During the Variety Show, the School Play, and other events in the aud, the stage crew was busy behind the scenes. Dick Wildauer stands on the bridge above the stage. STUDENT ACTIVITIES VARIED Dace Mezinskis receives from Sister Janice a certificate as winner of the Betty Crocker Award. The Gyre, a literary magazine, is edited by Joan Kasper and Dan Czolgosz, under the ad- visors, Mr. Miller and Mr. Wickam. It contains student articles from poetry, essays, art work, fiction and non- fiction. In case of f.ce., Subrmt to tW The Assumption Delega- tion represented Tunisia at the Iowa High School Model United Nations (IHSMUN). They met regularly under the mod- eration of Sister Jean O’Keefe, to discuss poli- cies of Tunisia. 20
