A Band Council was set up to speak for the entire band in various areas. AND THE BAND PLAYED ON! Twirlers were Mary Hughes, Linda Dellaman, (both missing), Debbie Chatfield, and Christine Dellaman. Majorette was Margaret Phelan. The Band, under the new direction of Mr. David Clauss, enjoyed an exciting year. The 80-piece organization marched at foot- ball games, en- tertained at basketball games, and competed in state contests throughout the year. Mr. Clauss directs. The band performs its Winter Concert. At their Winter Concert the Band played an enjoyable assortment of compositions. 10
