 AND THE BAND PLAYED ON! Twirlers were Mary Hughes, Linda Dellaman, (both missing), Debbie Chatfield, and Christine Dellaman. Majorette was Margaret Phelan. The Band, under the new direction of Mr. David Clauss, enjoyed an exciting year. The 80-piece organization marched at foot- ball games, en- tertained at basketball games, and competed in state contests throughout the year. Mr. Clauss directs. The band performs its Winter Concert. At their Winter Concert the Band played an enjoyable assortment of compositions. 10

SERVICE WAS NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY'S GOAL The National Honor Society had an eventful year. They sponsored Fine Arts Week and a student dance. Members served as ushers for college night and parent- teacher night. Officers of National Honor Society are: Kathy McKirchy, vice-president; Paul Crowley, president; Clete Coughlin, treasurer; and Mary Tavegia, secretary.
