Library Club Officers, left to right, Jo Anne Schutter, president; Mary FJIen Hughes, vice-presi- dent; and Dionette Butler, secretary- treasurer. “The purpose of the l ibrary Club is to work for the welfare of the teachers and students, to help people find needed re- search material, and to help keep the librar) in efficient working order,” said Jo Anne Schutter, president. The twenty- nine members, who work before, during, and after school, check out books, handle magazines, and collect fines. They have sponsored two projects: the making of stuffed animals for the Christmas baskets, and a penny pitch for Student Affairs Week. The purpose of the Audio-Visual Club is to aid teachers requesting audiovisual equipment for their classes. This is a service rendered by both girls and boys. Each student devotes one period a day to help teachers and students acquire equipment for class use. 17
