CLASS Wlll We, the Class of 1956, do hereby make this our last will and testament: Collectively we do bequeath: To Miss Ashbaugh a more wide-awake and knowing Senior Class. To Miss Christner boys who sing boys' parts instead of girls' parts. To Coach Corcoran championship football and basketball teams Qboth in the same Year, too.j To Mr. Dagner the ability to have his boys back from field trips on time. To Mrs. Fisher a class that will take their gym suits home regularly. To Mr. Forsythe classes in Science that can remember all the rules and formulas. To Mr. Gregory a band that will follow him instead of setting their own tempo. To Mr, Gruver a class that hands in daily work daily. To Miss Henschen a money-making Senior Class. To Miss Hoskins a non-traveling boy-friend. To Mr. Myer more time made up and less necessary speeches. To Mr. Simon a bucket of water to wet his dry jokes. To Della an errand-boy to mail her films. To Roy a cleaner and quieter crowd at the cafeteria. To Mike some help in making all the equipment for the high school next year. To Joe an automatic broom to sweep the school floors. Individually we do bequeath: I, David Baker, will my ability to get into trouble at least once every day in English to anyone who can think up that much meanness. I, Florence Bee, will my ability to appear to be a little angel in my classes while at the same time committing the perfect crime to anyone who thinks they can do ir. I, J oe Burnett, will my height to Roy Younker. I, Carolyn Cochran, will my ability to be a model driver to Donna Fringer, providing she doesn't get caught. K We, Beverly Coventry and Saundra Francisco, will our excuses to Betty Talbott, providing she uses them frequently. She's started out well. I, Vangine Cunningham, will my ability to keep a straight face in Mr. Simon's class to Annie Duck. I, James Dagen, will my luck of having school only 2 periods a day to anyone who can endure A.H.S. for 45- years. I, Donna Dorr, will my seat in the library to anyone who feels like loafing a period a day, I, Kenneth Dorr, will my ability to make noises and get away with it in second hour study hall to Merle Damery, providing he stays on the good side of Miss Ashbaugh. I, Bert Fringer, will my friendship with the Ag Teacher to all Future Farmers. I, Patsy Garrett, will my ability to bealmost late for Shorthand and Office Practice to Donna Nicol. I, Larry Harper, will my ability to skip school and get by with it to Dick Stringer, providing he doesn't get caught again like he did the last time. I, Mary Howard, will my dribbling ability in basketball to Celie Blondiau. I, Glenn Howse, will my ability to skip school and write my own excuses to Lyle Nicol, who has capabilities. I, Barbara Markham, will my ability to get along with teachers to my brother, Art. I,.-Mary McLeod, will my 7th hour English class to anyone who likes to study at noon. I, Margaret McLeod, will my simple, unbleached hair-do to Sharon Jones. I, Bill McLeod, will my good-conduct slip to anyone who is lucky enough to get one. I, Doris Mink, will my nickname, Tub, to my LITTLE sister. She's got a good start. I, Paul Nave, will my hot Chevie to J im McLeod, providing he does not take out Taylor- ville girls in it. I, Dave Rawlings, will my fifth year of afternoon of school to Dick Stringer. I, Jessie Stevens, will my ability to study to Bob Turntine.
