Mr. Frank Dawson High School Principal TO THE STUDENTS OF ASPERMONT HIGH SCHOOL It is my wish to you: that you flourish and prosper. Let your education help you to flourish and to be your guide to prosperity. Throughout life let treating others as you would want them to treat you also be your guide in beginning a new era for human relations. Just imagine what would happen if everyone was to try to treat those around themselves with justness, loyalty, good sportsmanship, fairness, honesty, kindness, considera- tion, compassion, self-control, tolerance, forgiveness, benevolence, belief, respect, politeness, dignity, admira- tion, friendliness, love, and did it with integrity? Aside from personal benefit, one can take a hand, no mat- ter how small, in beginning a new era for human relations. The pebble, dropped in a pool, can make ripples to the fur- thest shore. FLOURISH: To be in a state of activity and production; ex- panding in influence; thriving; visibly doing well. PROSPER: To achieve economic success; succeeding at what one does. Speech at Pep Rally Juniors receive class rings.

Aspermont Independent School District Mr. L. R. Dunn Superintendent Another school year has vanished only to appear again as another page in history. It has been a pleasure serving as your superintendent. I sincerely thank each of you: students, teachers, staff and patrons for your cooperation in making this a successful school year. Commendations are in order to the annual staff and sponsor for producing an excellent publication. I am sure this yearbook will hold many memories which will become more cherished in years to come. Students, take time to think seriously about your future. Also think seriously about your ability to learn while the op- portunity for learning is at hand. What is more needed for learning is a proper attitude and a humble mind. A wise man will hear and will increase in learning. As a saying goes, “Small minds dwell on ideas.” Think about the kind of mind you would like to develop. As you progress toward maturity, learn to take advantage of the opportunities afforded you in order that your life may be more abundant. '1 Best Wishes in the Future' ’ L. R. Dunn 2
