With the back to earth menu of southern fried chicken, old-fashioned baked potatoes, blue-lake green beans, and the delicious homemade rolls. When the dessert was served it was the strawberry short cake. Served on tiny flying saucers with a sponge cake lit with strawberry colored lights topped with white cheese from Mars. That no good for nothing judge. West of Pecos Introduction by Mack Peacock Judge Roy Bean, “the Law West of Pecos,” was decreed Orin Powers must hang for shooting Langtry, the famed frontier actress. The sentence has the town of Langtry, Texas in a stew, good citizens want him to live. Only one thing will save the unfortunate lad—the appearance of up a poster of his beloved Lily Bad men want Orin to swing, Lily herself. A research revealed in true life that Judge Roy Bean did not ever see Lily Langtry in person. He was buried on the day that Lily arrived in Langtry, Texas.
