This was one segment of the entertainment of home- coming weekend. The Senior Class sponsored a dinner later in the day, Saturday, October 9, 1971. Attendance was quite high for both activities. Several classes held singular reunions to supplement the days events. At the football game, Saturday night, the Hornets were defeated by Throck- morton. Stephanie Frazier, Freshman nominee, was elected Homecoming Queen. Mrs. Sally Wright was elected Com- ing Home Queen. Both queens were crowned during half- time ceremonies at the football game. The Saturday show featured a barbecue lunch by the Aspermont Lions Club and an auction sale. Honors for Grand Champions went to; Judy Pittcock - steer; Joe Jameson - heifer; Kollin Shadle - swine; Steve Yarbrough - lamb.
