We're a Have a chaw-a t'baccer, young feller? workin', Dear Students and Faculty: As you view this issue of the Hornet, may it in some special way give you much pleasure. In years to come, may it help you to remember some partic- ular individual or event while you were a student in the Aspermont Schools. The interest and activities of school life have multiplied greatly in re- cent years. Our schools have become miniature worlds in which many activities of human society are given consideration. On the whole, the activities have enriched human experience and increased the mental capacity of students. I feel that the Aspermont Schools have kept pace with these activities and due to this fact in some way have prepared you to meet the world activities with much success. To you seniors: when this book comes from press many of you will have already begun your world of experiences and I feel sure, will meet them, with much success. Sincerely yours, „ R. L. Huffman, Supt. To those of you who are finishing Aspermont High School this 1962 school year, the years you have spent in school may have seemed long and hard at times, but the future will prove you wise in taking advantage of this opportunity to better pre- pare yourself for life. Without this basic training it would not be possible for you to take advantage of the many opportunities that will come your way. To those of you in the lower classes, I offer encouragement to greater efforts in the task of preparing yourself for the future. W. J. Teel HIGh SCHOOL PRINCIPAL W. J. Teel TO THE STUDENTS May I express to you my sincere thanks and appreciation for the splendid coopera- tion you have given this year in Grade School. It has been a privilege and a pleasure to have had a part in your daily develop- ment by observing your progress grade by grade.
