Heald1s assistance as Coach. It was through his unselfish efforts as Coach that our Basketball Team won district and our Football Team won second in distr ict . Last year our Basketball Team was runner-up in Regional. Under the very capable coaching of Miss Ruby Lee Slayden the girls won District from Trent. The girls wish to express their appreciation to Miss Slayden for making their season the success it has been. The players and their positions are: tfto Vy. Cu'm 'VG, Number 4, all Tournament forward, was known as one of the best shots in the country. She always came through with some last minute scores. B-etty M'Vn-t-eA., Number 12, Captain of the team, was an excellent shot. She played her forward po'sition with skill and accuracy.
