KILL DENT GEORGE MARQUIS SAM CHILDRESS But like others had been with the class since its first year in school. SAM CHILDRESS. Completing his junior work, Sam spent the summer in Denton and graduated by finishing his cre- dits. Like the others Sam had been with the class since he started to school. GEORGE MARQUIS (H. A. 2-C). Feeling that it was his duty to go to the aid of his country, George;, by special work, finished before Mid-Term and joined the Navy. After receiving training and being stationed at the Naval Hospital at Corona Calif. He was transferred to the Marine Corps. George joined the class in the fifth The e boys were originally members of the Senior Class but because of the times they are no longer with the class. SID DUBOSE. Upon finishing his v.ork as a junior student went to John Tar„ leton during the summer and completed enough work to become a freshman there. Sid has been with the class since he started CHARLES (Blue) HARVEY. Up- on being inducted into the United States Army during his junior year in high school chose the Medical Corps and after receiv- ing his tiaini ng was sent acn oss. He is row serving over seas, presumably in the British Isles. “Bit le” has been with the class BILL DENT. Finishing his work at Mid-term. Bill went to work on his grand parent’s ranch because of labor shoitage. NORMAN SPENCER. Like wise completing his high school work at 'Fade- ton, is now a freshman there. Norman joined the class in the seventh grade.
