Completing his junior work, Sam spent the summer in Denton and graduated by finishing his cre- dits. Like the others Sam had been with the class since he started to school. GEORGE MARQUIS (H. A. 2-C). Feeling that it was his duty to go to the aid of his country, George;, by special work, finished before Mid-Term and joined the Navy. After receiving training and being stationed at the Naval Hospital at Corona Calif. He was transferred to the Marine Corps.
