As we all move up and out, we take the past along with us. We will remember those happy and sad moments in our high school careers, and we’ll value what we have learned in books and from our experiences. At one time or another, every student has had to face a very important turning point in his life, hopefully something that will help him in the future. But no one can ever forget, especially those good ole years at AHS.

"Don't Go Where the Path Leads;
Kenneth Ray Katzenberger
In the Senior Class of 1979, there was an empty place this year in our hearts and in everyone’s hearts for Kenneth Ray Katzenberger who left us on June 7,1978. Kenny lived in Clarkston and attended schools at Asotin for four years.
Kenny was a three-year letterman in football and was also in track. He enjoyed writing, drama, art and music and was an active person. His talents were seen in all he did, and his love for life itself was always present.
The Seniors of 1979 would like to dedicate this annual to our special friend, Kenny.
