Girls State Representative JEANETTE TAYLOR I, Jeanette Taylor, was a delegate to Girls Evergreen State which was held on the campus of Central Washington College of Education at Ellensburg, Washington, from June 11 to June 18, 1962, There were 351 girls from different parts of Washington present. At Girls State we learned how the government is run, and had an opportunity to live together as self governing citizens. I would again like to thank my sponsors, the American Legion Auxiliary and the Asotin Lions' Club for giving me the privilege of attending Evergreen Girls State.
