Senior Class Hisfory GWOK9 -- If was an excifing day when we greenhorns walked fimidly info The Asofin Hi building in I940. We were inifiafed before long and fhoughf we were freafed dreadfully. Our class had several parfies during fhe year. The firsf evenf of our sophomore year was fhe inifiafion of fhe fresh- man class. Thaf was fun! The annual school picnic ended a successful school year. Coming back from our summer vacafion we sfarfed our iunior year wifh I3 in fhe class. We gave a few invifafional parfies. ln fhe spring we had our Junior play. Skidding, which was under fhe direcfion of Miss Jusf and Mrs. Sperry, who was our class adviser. The annual Junior Prom was held in April wifh The Old Dufch Mill fheme. Our numeral parfy. which fook place on a very rainy day. was a lof of fun. Our senior year sfarfed off wifh a bang! Now. we are fhe High and Mighfy Seniors and fhis is fhe year fhaf we have been looking forward fo since we were freshmen. We gave our Senior play Acf Your Age and also gave a Senior Ball in February. wifh a Valenfine's Day Theme. Jack Wisdom, Lowell Miller, Sfanley Johnson and Gerald Trenf graduafed af mid-year. We had a wonderful fime on our senior sneak. Commencemenf ex- ercises ended our school acfivifies and we bid farewell fo good ol' Asofin Hi. Senior Play GXOKQ Acf Your Age was presenfed on November I9 by fhe Senior class under fhe direcfion of Miss Beadles. If was a fhree-acf comedy by Wil- liam Davis.
