On the other hand, many times we felt great pressure from them, especially around report card time. If our grades were low. or lower than Mom's and Dad’s standards. we found ourselves listening to ’’You spend too much time with your friends...” or ’’You don’t spend enough time on your homework...”. We also faced other pressures from parents.
