This year I am taking three honors classes in English, calculus, and Problems of Democracy (POD). Taking honors classes is very beneficial to me because it challenges me to maintain good grades. I can not try to “just get by when 1 take honors classes or college prep classes. I must work hard. Although good grades are important. I do not dwell only on school work and studying. I believe it is important to broaden my horizons. and school cannot totally fulfill these horizons. Realizing it is important to speak proper English, balance check books, and understand the government. I also realize that knowing how to do these things is not enough to fill my life.
