Guerriero become president of the 1956 boord. succeeding K H. Porks. Mr. Porks, who served 12 yeors, and W. F. Mullen. 4 years, were replaced by R. T. Blame and Mrs. Ruby Morrison, who were elected in November, along with Mr Guerriero. who was re elected. I. A. Swedenborg, who moved out of the school district, was replaced by M F. Swanson in August. E. I. Gephorf wos superintendent. while A, W. lewis served as clerk business-manager. A new Du-Kane dual-channel public address system costing $4,395 wos purchased for Ashtabula high school. Another important task of the boord wos making plans to equip the new gymnasium. They sanctioned the purchose of a folding partition. lockers, rollowoy bleachers, ond six goals for the gym.
