PCT ii Dedication BECAUSE the United Nations is striving to help people the world over, regardless of race, creed, or color, and because we feel this typifies the attitude of high schcol students today, the UN is the theme of our Yearbook. Parts of school life could be tied in with the various departments of the UN, Its Econ- omic and Social Council compares to our home ec and social science departments, Our Student Senate is a type of General Assembly. The Secretariat would, of course, be the many office workers. And our Security Council would consist of our administrators and faculty. With due regard for these facts, we proudly dedicate this l954 DART Yearbook to the student body of Ashtabula High School, in the hope that they, through use of their edu- cation, will, like the UN, try to make the world a better place in which to live.
