Lewis, also working closely with the board, has charge of the physical aspect of the school system--finaintenance, repairs, grounds, and buildings. fonsulting and testing students is Dr. Joseph Miller, school psychologist. Personality and vocational aptitude tests are given to seniors to guide them in choosing their careers. Director of Child Accounting and Guidance Miss Amy Parker contacts the home on such matters as absence, environment, and family problems. I,1'II1l2ll'y in the program of the school nurse, BIrs. Helen Kellogg, is the routine checking of vision, hearing, and teeth. She also meets emergencies and accidents and works with the local health association in scheduling tuberculosis patch tests and X-rays. As elementary supervisoi'. Mr. Stanley I.. tvolfe coordinates the work of elementary grades, including methods and texts. The diligent duties of Miss Edna Johnsen, secretary to Mr. Lewisg Mrs. Jack Shea, sec- retary to Mr. Gephartg and Charlotte Manyo, AHS senior, assistant to Mrs. Shea. have helped make the work of the administration office effective. Counseling students and providing a contact between the school and students were two of many tasks keeping the second-floor office busy. Principal M. E. Rowley has capably guided AHS through another eventful year. Issuing permits and assisting with the administrative work of the department was A.1'1. lViglit, assistant principal. Mrs. Janet Crampton, secretary. and Norma Miller, AHS sen- ior, assistant to Mrs. Crampton, efficiently handled the clerical duties of the office.
